Making Their Mark

Jake Pitt, 15, Member of UK Youth Parliament for Mendip, was one of the recent guests on the Community Show.

Jake will be part of a debate in the House of Commons on 4 November 2011 from those famous green leather benches in the Chamber.

Young people aged 11-18 from England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales will be converging on the Chamber to debate 5 topics chosen by their peers.

Jake talked about how and why he became a Member of UKYP and urged young people in the area to get involved and make a difference.
