Digital Switchover

Glastonbury FM has been asked to help promote the Digital Switchover Help scheme.

Digital TV switchover is coming to the West region in March. Everybody needs to be ready.

Do you know someone who might need help in switching to digital TV?

If they are 75 or over, registered blind or partially sighted or eligible for disability benefits, the Switchover Help Scheme offers them practical help to convert one of their TV sets to digital.

To get the help, they need to respond to the letter the Help Scheme has sent them.

If you know someone who is eligible, give them a helping hand and remind them to apply for the help they are entitled to. You could even help them fill out their application form or ask them to call free on 0800 40 87 656.

The Switchover Help Scheme is run by the BBC under agreement with the government.
